California, USA.
The region is sometimes referred to as The Valley of the Moon.

Located between Santa Rosa and Sonoma, Kenwood is quiet except for an occasional
siren or general aviation aircraft over flight. West of town is the City of

local wine industry, restaurants, and a European-style resort. An area landmark
is the Kunde Estate Winery on Highway 12.
Under Mexican rule in the 1800s, the community was part of an Alta California
land grant named Los Guilicos.
